Do you know your why?
A pep talk from yours truly, truly, truly outrageous. Why finding your “why” is important
your why is uniquely yours.
(It’s possible that most know that Simon Sinek popularized this concept with his book. Have you read it?)
“being a parent” or “being a child” or “or being a young professional” or “being on the senior management team” or “being a barista” or “being an aunt (❌ “ant”)” or “being a partner / spouse” is not a why.
While these roles are very important & crucial, and obviously take up a lot of real estate & brainpower / energy & time in our lives, they’re relational roles we serve to others.
Our Why is something independent of our relational roles.
❤️ (Bc grief is one of my “why”s – What happens if one those roles are here one day and gone the next or never existed in the first place? Then what?)
Our Why transcends our relational roles by serving humanity as a whole with our unique perspectives & talents & wisdom that no one else on this planet possesses.
You are one in 4 trillion (DM me for source). The why is inside of you, waiting to be uncovered & unveiled, chiseled from a block of stone. You’re the Michaelangelo of this process – no one else.
Enjoy & embrace the entire process — which will include painful low points, there’s no sugar-coating it — to search for it & arrive at a place where you uncover it!
